, the port’s foreign trade zone will host the serviceon Mexpress. LOGITEX USA will serve as the salees agent. Mexpress is an air cargo transportationm company that catersto small- to medium-sizef companies that need to ship less than a trailer load of supplies. Mexpress, in will aggregate the cargl andship customers’ materials out via air cargo shipperd at the port three times a week. “This service will be very important to companies in need of air cargo transport betwee our region and the strategic carg o centersin Mexico,” says Jorge Canavati, vice presidentf of business development for Port San Antonio.
“At the same time it is an efficient tool for small and medium sized companies that need to ship a palletg or two ata time.” The companies involvedf in this partnership envision offeringg this service to other marketws in Mexico and Central America. The companiex could also serve as a feeded to and from Asia through international aircargpo hubs. “We are opening new trade horizons in dealinfg with PortSan Antonio.” Mexpress President Carlos Durom says.
