Howard was interim president of the environmental organizatiohsince January, following the departur of Jim Stokes, a former partner with . In an e-mail to Georgisa Conservancy members sent outlate Tuesday, Howard said the organizationb “plays a vital role in the conservation of Georgia’s natura l resources, and I look forward to the challenge of building a greater network of environmentalp advocates for our state and developing a trulh statewide presence.” The organization also announced anothefr key staff decision. Wall has workedf with state leaders, consumer experts and citizen advocates to promote consumer educationand pro-consumee policies across the state, accordin g to the release.
